Advertise open houses on popular real estate sites like Trulia, Zillow, local MLS, and Yahoo and Google portals. Realtor.com lists open houses as a feature, including sales price with directions and maps where you can post. You can also advertise in real estate forums and blogs.
To add an open house to your listing on Zillow, it is best to have this added at the feed source. Once the open house date has passed, Zillow will take down the old open house information automatically.
If you did not have any open house details updated at your feed source, you’re able to manually add this information to your listing. Your feed will override the information you manually input if there is conflicting data in the feed.
For example: If you manually edit the open house details to be September 1, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm, but your feed is sending September 1, 1:00 pm-5:00 pm, the listing will continue to revert back to what is entered in the feed. The same goes for removing open house details, it will also need to be removed from the feed source to ensure complete removal from the listing.
